SHARPSBURG, Pa. — The Allegheny County District Attorney's Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested 19 people in a drug roundup throughout the North Hills Friday.
The investigation, named "Operation Clean Streets," began 10 months ago, officials said, and targeted sales of heroin, marijuana, cocaine and prescription medications.
The district attorney's office said Etna, Shaler Township, Franklin Park, West Deer, Frazer Township, Hampton Township, Indiana Township, Mckees Rocks, Ross Township, Reserve Township, Springdale Township and the Borough of Sharpsburg police participated in the sting.
Robert Anderson, Ryan Augustine, Emerick Buccigrossi, Michael Caiaccia, Colleen Davis, David Dunton, Jason Hazimanotis, Charlene Highfield, Christian Jackson, Daniel Mellinger, Cory Stoddart, Keenan Stover, Kevin Wirkowski, Christopher Zoller were all charged.
"Because affidavits are still being prepared, I do not have any additional vitals other than the names," Allegheny County District Attorney spokesperson Mike Manko said.
