MOUNT OLIVER, Pa. — Three people were hurt in a Mount Oliver shooting Saturday night.
Allegheny County dispatchers said emergency crews were called to the 200 block of Brownsville Road at 9:21 p.m.
Two people were taken to a hospital from that location. Allegheny County police say an 18-year-old woman was shot through the foot and a 23-year-old man was shot in the buttocks. They’re both in stable condition.
About two hours later, police say a third victim was located at a hospital with a graze wound to the arm.
All three victims are expected to survive.
On Sunday evening, Allegheny County police said detectives are investigating the incident as a drive-by shooting.
“I was just walking in the street, and I just heard these gunshots and this car drive past,” said Ari’elle Davis who lives nearby.
Several bullets hit two businesses, including Selena Johnson’s, who owns Phenomenal Canine.
“I popped over here. I came in. I saw the hole in my building, and I was pretty upset,” Johnson said.
The dog trainer showed up to work Sunday morning to find a trail of broken glass from her storefront.
“I had to cancel one lesson today since I had to clean up glass,” said Johnson. “Dogs and glass don’t mix.”
Bullet holes were also found in three windows at Plee Projects, a photography studio next door. The owner told Channel 11′s Antoinette DelBel two of her clients were inside filming a YouTube video when gunshots went through the windows and walls hitting the man and woman.
The shooting is leaving some neighbors on edge.
“It was just really, really scary, and I just don’t know how I can stay over here,” Davis said. “I can’t. I really, really can’t because it’s getting scary, like can’t even walk to the store no more.”
Currently, there are no suspects in the shooting.
ACPD detectives are investigating the shooting. Anyone with information should contact police by calling their tipline, 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
