WHITE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Two men were arrested after threatening a man with a gun and a baseball bat at a car wash, police say.

Gerald Drew Jeffries III, 21, and Rashaun Dru Delige, 26, both from White Oak, allegedly approached a man who was washing his car at the Wash Werks on Oakland Avenue and began to threaten him.

State troopers say the incident happened at around 4:51 p.m. on Sunday.

Witnesses told police there was excessive yelling and that one woman fled, fearing for her life.

Both men allegedly had the hoods of their shirts pulled up and the man reportedly wielding the gun was wearing a full-face mask.

When troopers arrived, they stopped a blue 2014 Chevrolet Cruze as it was leaving the car wash.

They said Jeffries and Delige were in the vehicle. After receiving a search warrant ant towing the vehicle, troopers said they found a pistol placed under the car and a baseball bat by the driver’s side door. Troopers say surveillance footage showed Delige opening the car door and throwing the gun underneath it as police arrived.

The two men were taken into custody without incident. They face charges of carrying a firearm without a license, terroristic threats, disorderly conduct and possession of a small amount of marijuana.
