65-year-old man facing aggravated assault charges connected to stabbing in Pitcairn

PITCAIRN, Pa. — Two men were stabbed in Pitcairn Wednesday evening.

Allegheny County police said dispatch was notified of an assault in the 300 block of Broadway Boulevard at 7:16 p.m.

Emergency crews found two men, ages 67 and 65, at the scene. Both had non-life-threatening stab wounds.

Both men were taken to an area hospital in stable condition, police said.

Police have charged Barry Bishop, 65, with multiple counts of aggravated assault with the stabbing.
