2 people flown to hospital from motorcycle versus car crash in Derry Township

DERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Two people were flown to the hospital after a motorcycle versus car crash in Derry Township.

The accident happened on Pizza Barn Road at 3:58 p.m., according to Westmoreland County 911.

The Derry Township fire chief said two people were flown to the hospital for their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.

The road is closed while Pennsylvania State Police’s reconstruction team investigates.
