SHALER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Emergency crews were on the scene of a house fire in Shaler Township Thursday morning.

The fire broke out on hi ba just off of 601 Spencer Lane Extension around 2:40 a.m.
Dispatchers told Channel 11 that two people were taken to a hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
The Undercliff Volunteer Fire Department said that a second-alarm was called for additional manpower.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Allegheny County Fire Marshals Office.
