2023 Summer Concert Series announced for Allegheny County

ALLEGHENY COUNTY — The list of concerts scheduled for the Allegheny County 2023 Summer Concert Series has been announced.

Fourteen shows will be held a the South Park Amphitheater and the Hartwood Acres Park Amphitheater. Music of all genres, ranging from jazz to the blues, to funk or alternative will be played at the theaters.

Shows at the South Park Amphitheater will be held on Fridays at 7:30 p.m. except for the Pittsburgh Symphony concert which will be held on a Saturday. Hartwood Acres Amphitheater concerts will be held Sunday evenings starting at 7:30 p.m. Entrance to the concerts will be free.

The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and Pittsburgh Opera are some of the performers who will have shows.

June 16 - Ally Venable (Blues), Pierce Dipner

June 23 - Honky-Tonk Jukebox featuring Bindley Hardware Co. (Country Rock)

July 1 - Pittsburgh Symphony (starts at 8:15 p.m.)

July 7 - Summer of Love (60s Revue)

July 14 - Tyler Braden (Country), Dave Pahanish

July 21 - The Dazz Band (Funk), Kenny Stockard

July 28 - Fastball (Pop Rock), Special Guest

Aug 4 - Richie Goods/Chien Chien Lu “Connected” (Jazz), Emmett Goods Ensemble

Aug 11 - JD McPherson (Rock), Paul Luc

Aug 18 - Edwin McCain (Singer/Songwriter), Bill Deasy

Aug 25 - Tamburitzans

Sept 1 - Punchline (Rock), Caleb Kopta

July 30 - Hometown Night at Hartwood featuring Zack Keim, Forestry Division. Ames Harding and The Mirage (Rock)
