BROOKLINE, Pa. — Two people were arrested in Brookline after police said they found a large amount of drugs in their possession.

Chauncey Howard and Lakeya White are charged with criminal conspiracy, possession with intent to deliver and endangering the welfare of children.

Police said they recovered 24 bricks of heroin that has a street value of $12,000 and marijuana inside an apartment Thursday.

During an investigation, police said detectives learned the apartment was occupied by White, Howard, a juvenile and two small children.

The children were released to family members and CYF was notified, police said.
