3 people injured after crash in Allegheny County, driver rescued from car

STURGEON, Pa. — Three people were taken to a hospital after a crash in Allegheny County.

Sturgeon Volunteer Fire Department said they were dispatched to Cecil-Sturgeon Road in Sturgeon for reports of a crash on Sunday.

Pictures from the department show that a red pickup truck had collided with a tree.

Firefighters soon learned that a passenger was trapped inside the vehicle.

Oak Ridge Volunteer Fire Department joined the Sturgeon firefighters and successfully removed the person from the car.

The driver and another passenger made it out of the car before firefighters arrived.

All three people were taken to the hospital.
