4 cats, dog die in Munhall fire

MUNHALL, Pa. — Four cats and a dog are dead after a house fire in Munhall.

Munhall Central Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company said they responded to reports of a fire at a house on Longfellow Drive at around 10:30 a.m.

Firefighters extinguished the fire, which was in the kitchen of the house.

Crews said all animals taken from the house were taken to a vet. One dog did survive.

No people were hurt during the fire.

Crews were on the scene for around three hours.
