Woman dies after being hit by car on McKnight Road

PITTSBURGH — A woman died after being hit by a car on McKnight Road, according the Ross Township police.

The crash happened in the 4500 block of McKnight Road around 8:08 p.m. on April 6.

The woman who was hit was taken to a hospital in critical condition. Police said she died the next day.

Police also said there’s no sign of foul play or intoxication in regards to the driver.

Ross Township police said there are no anticipated charges in the crash.

A portion of southbound McKnight Road was closed. Ross Township police said the road was closed at Babcock Boulevard and traffic was being redirected.
