PITTSBURGH — UPDATE: Queenie Kirkland has been found and is safe, Pittsburgh police said Wednesday morning.
ORIGINAL: Pittsburgh detectives are asking for the public’s help to find a missing woman.
Queenie Kirkland, 89, left her home on Thomas Boulevard on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
Kirkland was last seen wearing a black jacket, gray sweater, black and white checkered pants, black boots and a black hat.
She’s 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 117 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair.
Kirkland has dementia and walks with a cane.
Officials said she’s known to frequent the city’s Homewood neighborhood.
