Pittsburgh nurse stole patient’s medication from hospital room, according to arrest warrant

PITTSBURGH — A Pittsburgh nurse has been arrested for stealing a patient’s Oxycodone prescription.

Tiffany Hafner turned herself in Friday, according to Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro.

She was working at UPMC Magee Women’s Hospital in Oakland when she allegedly stole a patient’s medication and replaced it with a sedative, leaving the patient in pain.

Hafner is facing neglect and theft charges.
