A really big dill: Picklesburgh named best specialty food festival for 3rd consecutive year

PITTSBURGH — Picklesburgh has been named the best specialty food festival in America for the third consecutive year.

According to a news release, USA Today announced the win in their 2023 reader’s choice contest on Friday.

“We’re so grateful for the thousands of Pittsburghers who are passionate about Picklesburgh and helped us bring home another win for the city of champions” said Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership President Jeremy Waldrup. “Pittsburgh and Picklesburgh are inextricably linked. Our community continues to turn out in incredible numbers, and our vendors always create spectacular culinary creations. It’s a truly unique cornerstone event for Pittsburgh, and we are so honored to have won this incredible distinction for a third time!”

Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership said Picklesburgh will return this year bigger than before and several new surprises will be announced in the coming months.
