SHALER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A water main break shut down a portion of a Shaler road overnight.
According to Shaler police, Soose Road is shut down near Parker Street and Seavey Road.
The line was repaired around 6:30 a.m. and crews told Channel 11 they were working to get the road repaired.

The Hampton Shaler Water Authority said that residents may notice discolored water when service is restored.
Discolored water is safe for consumption unless you have health issues, according to the water authority.
Water was shut off in the area for crews to repair the break.
As of 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Soose Road has reopened to traffic.
