ARMSTRONG COUNTY, Pa. — A man is facing charges after police said he invited two other men to his home in Armstrong County, where he shot and killed them.
According to a criminal complaint, the shooter and the two victims were at a restaurant when the shooter invited the victims back his house on Shaffer Lane in Washington Township.
The shooter, identified as Scott Shaffer, got to the house before the victims. He got a rifle and told his daughter not to go upstairs. She related that she heard him loading a rifle.
The complaint said Shaffer woke his daughter up, told her he shot two people and asked her to hide the rifle. She set the gun down and called 911.
Police have identified the victims as Gregory Samosky, 27, and Kenneth Moore, 32.
Samosky was found on the living room couch. He had been shot multiple times, the complaint said. Moore was facedown on the living room floor and had been shot at least once.
Shaffer was taken into custody at the scene. He later confessed to shooting the victims, police said.
