MCKEES ROCKS, Pa. — A balloon release was held for a local mom who died over a month after she was shot in McKees Rocks.
Dominique Smith, 38, died at the hospital on Dec. 8. She was shot in McKees Rocks on Oct. 26 and taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Shaylon Williams, 37, died at the hospital just after the shooting.
People at the balloon release tell Channel 11 Smith was a loving daughter and a mother of six children.
Allegheny County police said detectives believe they have identified everyone involved in the shooting and are awaiting determination from the district attorney’s office regarding potential charges.
