BEAVER FALLS, Pa. — UPDATE 12/20/24 9:00 p.m.
The owner of D&G Pizza announced on Friday that they would be closing early.
They were originally going to close on Saturday, but said they ran out of supplies Friday night.
They thanked customers for their support over the last two weeks.
A popular pizzeria in Beaver Falls is closing its doors for a final time after 60 years.
The owner of D&G Pizza, Ken Levato, made the announcement on Facebook, saying its last day open will be Dec. 21.
“I want to express my deepest appreciation to all our valued customers for being the reason for our successful family business,” Levato said on the post.
Levato said since his dad’s passing this year, he cherishes now more than ever that he was able to work alongside him every day.
“I am truly grateful to the Beaver Falls community for gifting me that honor and helping make so many treasured memories over the years,” he said.
Levato said he’s looking forward to spending time with his loved ones.
