PITTSBURGH — The Bloomfield-Garfield Corp. is now the proud owner of a $10 million synagogue renovation project.

To hear the organization’s executive director Rick Swartz tell it, the challenges are just beginning to repair and then renovate the former B’Nai Israel synagogue property at 333 North Negley Ave. for which a new nonprofit called The Rotunda Collaborative Inc. has been established.

For now, as 2024 draws to an end, the community group has closed on buying the rotunda portion of the larger property from an affiliate of Beacon Communities, with a transaction record revealing a sale from 327 NN Rotunda LLC to Bloomfield-Garfield Corp. for $598,100.
