FLAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — A woman from Butler County brought home the gold in a 10-mile race at a resort in Walt Disney World.

Emily Wolfarth from Mars was the winner in the women’s division in the Disney Pixar Toy Story 10-Miler. She was able to finish the race in one hour, five minutes and 37 seconds on Sunday.

Wolfarth stayed on pace with the woman who won the race last year until the very end. She made a final strong push in the last 30 seconds of the race, which earned her the victory.

“I said [to myself], I’m not going to start kicking it until I see the finish line because I’ve kicked it too early before,” Wolfarth said. “And I was like, I just got to see that finish line and then start picking it up.”

Mike Williams, a man from Harrison City, also saw some success at the race. He represented the Pittsburgh area by placing third in the men’s division.
