GREENSBURG, Pa. — Police in Greensburg are investigating after several shots were fired at a parked vehicle early Wednesday morning.
According to police, officers were called to the corner of Grove and Washington streets just after 3 a.m. for the report of gunshots.
Officers responding to the call said they found a brown Chevy Cruze parked on Grove Street with several bullet holes in it. In addition, a nearby residence was hit by one bullet.

"We recovered 11 9mm and .45-caliber shell casings from the scene that were fired," Police Chief Wally Lyons told Channel 11's news exchange partners at TribLIVE. "We have reports of two males wearing hoodies who fled on foot west on Grove. We received numerous telephone calls from the neighborhood about numerous gunshots being fired. We're fortunate no one was injured."
Police have made no arrests and are investigating possible motives. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call police.
