Carrick convenience store robbed for 2nd time in a week

CARRICK, Pa. — Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Carrick convenience store.

According to police, the robbery happened at Unimart in Carrick just after 3 a.m. Monday.

Authorities said two men wearing hooded sweatshirts stole money and cigarettes then took off toward West Agnew Street.

Officials said the suspects were between the ages of 19 and 25. One of them was wearing a blue sweatshirt and had a semi-automatic pistol, officials said.

Investigators said they are looking into the possibility that the robbery is related to a robbery at the same store last week.

Anyone with information on either incident is asked to contact police.
