City of Pittsburgh opens warming centers early because of extreme weather conditions

PITTSBURGH — The City of Pittsburgh has activated warming centers due to extreme weather conditions.

The following locations will be open:

Brighton Heights Healthy Active Living Community Center is open until 12 a.m.

CitiParks said it is working to find volunteers to staff warming centers for extended hours if needed.
