CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A community theatre in Cranberry Township is closing its doors.

The Comtra Theatre announced on Saturday that the space is closed.

A statement said operational costs had become unsustainable.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who have supported us throughout the years, including our loyal audiences, dedicated volunteers, talented actors, directors, musicians, costumers, set builders, choreographers, and many others who have contributed to our theatre,” the Comtra Theatre said.

The Comtra Theatre was founded 42 years ago.
