Crash on Route 28 causes heavy backups; at least 1 person hospitalized

ETNA, Pa. — At least one person was injured in a car accident on Route 28.

According to Allegheny County 911, the crash happened on Route 28 at the 62nd Street Bridge at around 11:10 a.m. Tuesday.

Millvale Volunteer Fire Department (Station 191) said on Facebook that the crash involved multiple cars, but there’s no word on how many exactly.

There’s no word on if any other people were hurt in the accident.

Route 28 northbound between Millvale and Shaler was shut down but has since reopened.
