STOWE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — McKees Rocks native Damar Hamlin will return to his hometown for his foundation’s fifth annual toy giveaway on December 17.
The Buffalo Bills safety, and former Pitt standout, takes pride in being able to host events that are important for children.
“To be giving back to the community and bringing everybody together like this, it just shows that we’re stronger together. And on top of that, allowing those kids to see that this can be you if you just stay focused, do the right things, stay out of trouble, and make smart moves,” Hamlin said.
Tuesday’s toy giveaway will be held at Sto-Rox High School.
It starts at 7 p.m. and toys will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis.
If a child cannot attend, each adult must present a birth certificate to receive a toy.
