PITTSBURGH — Multiple people were injured in a crash involving a dump truck and two other vehicles on the Parkway East.
The dump truck was heading east toward Second Avenue near the Bates Street exit Thursday afternoon when it collided with a sedan, state police said.
Troopers said the sedan was knocked over the concrete median and landed in the oncoming traffic inbound lanes where it hit a car.
The dump truck went over a hill.
The drivers of all three vehicles were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
A road closure was in place while crews responded to the scene but all lanes have since been reopened.
