PITTSBURGH — Emergency crews are on the scene of a structure fire across the street from the UPMC Mercy South Side campus.
Allegheny County dispatchers say the fire began at 2:20 p.m. on S. 20th Street in South Side Flats.
There were no injuries as a result of the fire.
The majority of the fire caused damage to the upper floor of the building. Firefighters placed a ladder against the building to put out flames through the top right window of the building.
