Bellevue, Pa. — Emergency crews had a busy night in the areas of Bellevue and Avalon Sunday night after two nearby accidents occurred along Route 65 within less than 20 minutes of each other.
Police officers, firefighters and medics were first called to 720 Ohio River Blvd. at around 7:57 p.m.
Firefighters said a postal truck and a passenger car collided with one another. The car was towed from the scene and crews continued to work until around 10 p.m. There were no reported injuries.
Just 16 minutes after the truck and vehicle collided, another vehicle rolled over just down the road outside of a NAPA Auto Parts. The two scenes were separated by a two-minute drive.
Bellevue firefighters said one person was taken to the hospital after that rollover crash.
Ohio River Blvd. never had to be closed or restricted as emergency crews worked on the two crashes.
