PITTSBURGH — Family, friends and community members came together in East Liberty to remember 19-year-old Delmar Greer Jr., who was hit and killed by a vehicle last weekend.
Greer’s family said he was hit after his car broke down on the Parkway East near the Churchill Exit.
“I’m going to miss him every day of my life. He was my everything. I was his everything,” said Greer’s sister, Re-del.
Loved ones released balloons at Pennley Park and are demanding answers about who was behind the wheel when he was hit.
“They need their justice. They need to find out who did this. The police are not giving us anything,” said Dorothy Brandon, Greer’s aunt.
Greer graduated from Perry High School last June. His family said he was a straight-A student.
