North Fayette County Municipal Authority customers are under a boil water advisory after a water main break sent water gushing into the sky on Monday.
The break happened at the intersection of Ridge Boulevard and West Crawford Avenue in Connellsville, near Dunbar Township Elementary.
According to the water authority, there is possible contamination of drinking water from rainwater on the cover of the main reservoir.
All North Fayette County water customers are affected, as well as Mountain Water Association, which is south of Uniontown.
