Fire damages 2 houses in Ford City

FORD CITY, Pa. — A fire damaged two houses in Armstrong County Saturday night.

Armstrong County dispatchers say emergency crews were called to 632 Fouth Avenue in Ford City at 10:58 p.m.

Ford City firefighters say the fire was originally burning at one house but later spread to a neighboring one.

There were no reported injuries during the fires, the department says.

Firefighters battled the flames for several hours.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time.
