WHITE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Flames destroyed a barn in Indiana County on Wednesday.
The Indiana Fire Association said firefighters were called to Kauffman Road in White Township at 7:26 a.m.
When crews arrived, the fire was so large that it was quickly raised to two alarms. Firefighters believe it had been on fire for over an hour before a passerby reported it.
A horse died and everything inside the barn was destroyed, Creekside Volunteer Fire Company said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation but is not believed to be suspicious at this time.
Crews were able to begin cleaning up at around 9:45 a.m.
