MCKEESPORT, Pa. — An arrest warrant has been issued after a fatal shooting in McKeesport on Friday.
County police have determined that 25-year-old Vernon Dean Eutsey, of Pittsburgh, was the person responsible for the shooting.
Police, fire and EMS crews were called to the 100 block of Fifth Avenue at 1:35 p.m. Upon arrival, first responders found an adult male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The victim was identified by the medical examiner’s office as 22-year-old Michael Gunter.
Eutsey has been charged with criminal homicide, tampering with evidence, person not to possess firearms, and recklessly endangering another person.
