BUTLER COUNTY, Pa. — Investigators believe a former Butler school board member accused of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old was possibly living with the victim in his camper in a different county.

In May, Bill Halle suddenly resigned from the Butler School Board after being accused of having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl.
Police say they found sexually explicit texts and the girl admitted to having sex with Halle.
She worked at his cafe at the Net Outreach Center.
Police charged Halle with sex crimes. They say he assaulted a teenage girl he employed and counseled.
Halle was put in jail last week.

The Butler County District Attorney says Halle was detained by his probation officer after contacting the victim.
“So we’ve gotten word since he’s been in jail that he’s actually had contact with the victim,” Goldinger said.
The DA believes they were living together in Halle’s camper in Clarion County.
“We got some information that he might be residing with her at a campground in Clarion County,” District Attorney Rich Goldinger said.
Goldinger said Halley was placed on probation over the summer for violating the no-contact conditions in a sexual violence protection order.

Halle had a bond hearing on Monday afternoon. Halle’s attorney filed a motion to allow him to have contact with the victim but the judge refused.
He faces up to six months in jail.
