MURRYSVILLE, Pa. (AP) — Two students injured in the stabbing and slashing rampage at Franklin Regional High School have been released from the hospital.

Derek Jones was discharged from Forbes Regional Hospital Wednesday evening.

"I'm a little tired out but otherwise, I'm doing pretty good," Jones told reporter Vince Sims on Thursday.

Jones lost a kidney after being stabbed in the back earlier this month.

Alex Hribal, 16, is charged as an adult with multiple counts of attempted homicide and aggravated assault.

"I repositioned myself to move my prom date to make sure she wouldn't be the one stabbed," said Jones.

Jones credits a teacher for saving his life.

"If it wasn't for a teacher talking to me at that time, I probably never would have made it because I figure if I didn't stay conscious through it, I don't think I would have made it," he said.

Jared Boger, 17, was released Wednesday afternoon from UPMC Presbyterian hospital, according to family members. Doctors had said Boger was one of the most seriously injured in the April 9 attacks at Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville.

Forbes Regional Hospital has two students remaining, one in fair condition and one in critical condition.

Hribal faces a preliminary hearing April 30.

"I don't know how I feel towards him honestly," said Jones.
