Multiple shots fired at DEA agent in Pittsburgh’s Carrick neighborhood

PITTSBURGH — An investigation is underway after multiple shots were fired at a Drug Enforcement Administration agent in Pittsburgh’s Carrick neighborhood Friday afternoon.

Dispatchers said that the call for Maytide Street near Edgar Street came in around 1:25 p.m.

No one was injured in the incident.

Sources tell Channel 11 that the suspect’s red truck was left a few blocks over. At last check, they were not in custody.

The FBI is investigating the incident. Pittsburgh police said they are assisting.
