PITTSBURGH — UPMC’s latest big construction project, the high-tech and patient-centric vision and rehab center called the UPMC Mercy Pavilion, is set to start seeing patients May 1.
The 10-story, 410,000-square-foot building in Uptown Pittsburgh off the Boulevard of the Allies will house the UPMC Vision Institute and the UPMC Rehabilitation Institute, seeing the hospital’s vision and rehab patients and also the home of the world-renowned researchers with 100,600 square feet of research space in addition to the clinical areas.
