FRANKLIN PARK, Pa. — The Highland Volunteer Fire Department broke its record for most calls in a year.
They announced on Facebook on Sunday that they broke with record when they responded to a house fire in Franklin Park.
Part of a house on Catherine Court had caught on fire. The firefighters ventilated a second floor and worked at the scene for about an hour.
It marked their 807th call of the year.
They said their last record was 741 calls. That was set in 2022.
