PITTSBURGH — For the 31st year, thousands of people will flock to Downtown Pittsburgh to ring in the New Year.
Highmark First Night Pittsburgh 2025 is a six-hour community celebration of the arts on New Year’s Eve. It features free and ticketed events.
Some of the free featured events include the annual New Year’s parade, an ice maze, a holiday block party and the Countdown to Midnight. The night culminates with a Pittsburgh tradition, the Future of Pittsburgh ball rising nearly 75 feel to its pinnacle position as fireworks fill the sky.
Local rapper FRZY headlines the event.
Some of the ticketed events include a VIP experience, a comedy show and Pittsburgh jazz icon Roger Humphries celebrating the music of Ray Charles.
The night culminates with a Pittsburgh tradition, the Future of Pittsburgh ball rising nearly 75 feel to its pinnacle position as fireworks fill the sky.
