Our brief break from the heat ends Tuesday, with high temperatures and humidity creeping back up. Temperatures will top out in the mid 80s and humidity levels will be more noticeable, especially after lunch.
A stray shower is possible in the early afternoon, but any showers will be isolated and bring low impacts.
A better chance for showers and possibly strong storms develops on Wednesday and could come in two rounds. The first round will impact the morning commute and the second, stronger round develops after lunch into the evening. Threats with any storm include heavy downpours, damaging winds, lightning and an isolated tornado.
