BADEN, Pa. — A gas leak caused evacuations in Beaver County on Monday morning.
It happened on Phillips Street and McKee Avenue in Baden.
Emergency dispatchers said residents have been told they can return to their homes.
Communications Manager for Columbia Gas Lee Gierczynski said their crews were repairing a line on McKee Avenue on Friday. On Monday morning, there was an odor and “hissing” sound near the excavation site, and some homes nearby were evacuated.
Gierczynski said the line is expected to be repaired by Monday afternoon.
