Two people found dead in Springdale home identified

SPRINGDALE, Pa. — Two people found dead at a scene in Springdale have been identified.

Springdale mayor John Molnar said that two bodies were found, one man and one woman. Allegheny County Police Department said in a press release that both victims appeared to have suffered gunshot wounds.

The Medical Examiner’s Office later identified the victims as 36-year-old Robert Devaughn Williams and 24-year-old Morgan Kurpakus.

A weapon was found between the two of them and both were described as covered in blood.

Mayor Molnar said a worker saw them through a window.

First responders received a call at 3:38 p.m. to an incident at the 1000 block of Pittsburgh Street.
