A few storms could be severe with a primary threat of damaging winds, downpours, frequent lightning, and small hail. An isolated tornado can’t be ruled out. Clouds mix with sun Thursday; it will be humid and warm with highs in the mid 80s with a chance of a stray afternoon shower. The heat and humidity continue into the weekend with highs in the upper 80s near 90 degrees. Next best chance for scattered thunderstorms will come Sunday.
