Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh hosts Pet-a-Palooza

The Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh held an event focused on introducing pets up for adoption to their potential new owners.

The HARP said it currently has an abundance of animals in its care and is determined to give those animals homes. The solution was Pet-a-Palooza.

Pet-a-Palooza attendees were able to meet adoptable cats, dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits and a turtle. The HARP said all animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped, given vaccinations appropriate for their age at the time of adoption and given flea and tick protection.

The organization held the event on Hamilton Avenue. Music was played, prizes were given away and treats were offered. Adults were able to learn more about the organization, and kids were able to participate in different activities.
