PITTSBURGH — Police have released a surveillance photo of one of the two men they said robbed a downtown bank Thursday afternoon.
Authorities said officers were called to the First National Bank on Wyoming Street just after 2 p.m. Thursday for the report of a robbery.
According to police, a security guard said two men entered the bank in black clothing, and one of the men approached him with a gun and forced him to the ground.
The guard told police that the man robbed him of his money.
Investigators said the other man went to a bank teller and demanded money. The teller complied and put an undisclosed amount of cash in a bag.
The men then ran from the bank.
The first suspect is described as a black man standing about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He was wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt, a black jacket, black pants, a black ski mask and black gloves.
The second suspect is described as a black man standing about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. He was also wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt and black jeans.
Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to contact police.
