Iron City billboard replaced with ad for local law firm

PITTSBURGH — An iconic billboard that’s a staple in Mount Washington is gone again.

The Lamar billboard on Mount Washington has donned the likeness for a favorite Yinzer brew, Iron City, for decades — from 1938 to the mid-50′s. The ad returned again in 2020, briefly featuring I.C. Light in 2023. But, the billboard no longer features any of Pittsburgh Brewing Company’s products.

The beloved ad was replaced with one for the law firm Pond Lehocky within the last week.
