MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Revival Today Church in Moon Township has been ordered to stop holding outdoor services and events as part of an ongoing legal battle.
David Bachman, chairman of the Township Board of Supervisors, confirmed to Channel 11 News that an Allegheny County Common Pleas Court judge recently approved a temporary injunction that prohibits the church from occupying a huge tent on its property along Coraopolis Heights Road, starting on Dec. 26.
Neighbors have complained for several months about the noise and traffic they say is generated by services and festivals held in the nearly 19,000-square-foot tent.

Bachman said he couldn’t comment any further since Revival Today Church has an active Conditional Use Application with the Township.
A meeting is tentatively scheduled for Jan. 13, 2025 at the Moon Township municipal building.
