Kickoff and Rib Festival returns to Acrisure Stadium this month

PITTSBURGH — The annual Kickoff and Rib Festival returns to Acrisure Stadium Aug. 29 through Sept. 2.

In addition to some of the best ribs in the country from a dozen or more vendors, the festival will feature football, free concerts, food and fun.

The Beats & BBQ Showdown kicks off on opening day. The interactive live event features DJs, dancers, musicians, contests and more in a one-of-a-kind extravaganza.

There will be free performances by The Clarks, Country Star George Birge, Street Party with DJ Petey C, Jimmy Adler Band, House of Soul Band and Billy Price.

Admission to the festival grounds is free. Food and drink will be available for purchase.

Fans must purchase tickets in order to enter Acrisure Stadium for the Pitt Panthers football game on Aug. 31 and must also pre-register for the Steelers 5k Run & Walk, the Steelers Youth Football clinic, Hall of Honor Museum admission, and the Cornhole Tournament benefitting The Veterans Place of Pittsburgh.
