JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Multiple fire departments battled a brush fire in Fayette County.
Fayette County 911 dispatchers said the brush fire in Jefferson Township was reported just before noon.

ATVs were used to move firefighters around quickly to fight the flames.
Smoke could be seen pouring over trees hours after the fire was initially called in.
Firefighters say departments from five counties responded.
No injuries have been reported.
Crews were on scene for at least four hours.
Channel 11 has reached out to multiple local fire departments and the Salvation Army for more information and is waiting to hear back.
